I keep getting nightmares where I get credit :( I had a nightmare last night where I only got 10 points!
In primary I always got credit so back then I didn't care, but now I feel bad to get credit for Maths Comp lol. I was close to credit last year though... D:
Credit isn't bad. It's one step higher than participation :)

Re: Maths Competition

Lol. I definitely screwed up in that Maths comp.

At our school, only the EXT Maths classes were supposed to do it but the Year 12s didn't want to do it since they wanted to study for their trials, so the top Advanced Maths class got chosen to do it instead of the Year 12s.

Most of us were in the hall, but two classes were in a normal classroom, including me, and I could hear people just muttering words under their breath, some just threw their pen down and sat back and some just made paper airplanes with the working out paper and threw it around the room.

And....seriously....we only got one sheet of working paper. The teacher said that that's all they gave him. One for each student. So noone bothered working out answers after their sheet was filled. So most likely everybody will get a participation.

Re: Maths Competition

To ahhliss, if it's any consolation, I ALWAYS get participation in the english competitions. :)

EDIT: Credit not bad. It's the top 50% of entrants I believe.

How is that possible lol. You like try so hard for English. Every post you make about English is like these long paragraphs of analysis and like essay long tips lol.

Those competitions are multiple choice. My inherent weakness.

P.S The keyword you've used is 'try'. That's correct; I put in effort but that doesn't always translate into results I'm happy with.
