Got like 86 and pretty sure my parents' expectations for me have just rapidly dropped. x-x I feel so bad about it. I mean I have the atar that I wanted but yeah, I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't try hard enough.

i missed guaranteed entry by 0.65. is there any point in holding out?
Yep :) You aren't guaranteed an offer as today but by the time the 23rd(?) rolls around, you might land an offer as the actual cutoffs can dip below the guaranteed ones.

i was looking at the honour roll and i was wondering, is it possible for a student to receive an atar above 90 without having any band 6's? like theyre not mentioned but they got an atar above 90? idk if im making sense but yeah im just curious

Yes of course.
You can get close to 97-98 atar with no band 6 i.e 89 for all high scaling subjects
