it was cssa but idk if these marks will get bumped up a bit based on moderation. i fucking dropped rankings by 30 spots. main problem is i got average cause my cohort average was 60. i think im fucked tho in general idk.no not at all, isn’t that really good for advanced maths? plus it’s the rankings that matter not the marks
Maybe the quizzes for super quick practice questions but i only use them after watching a video just to check that I got everythingQUESTION FOR CHEM STUDENTS! Do you reckon atomi is at all helpful for quick practice questions, like going over the main points efficiently? I'm combining that with looking at the actual syllabus/textbooks/practice papers of course, but I'm thinking atomi could be good as a bit of a starting point for getting back into the swing of things. Lol.
I seem to understand chemistry conceptually just fine! I'm terrible though at remembering formulae, I'm not a maths person…naturally, at least. I love the subject I'm just a bit impractical LOL
imo atomi can be half good half bad for questions, sometimes they're specific but sometimes they ask you something ab the dumbest thing mentioned in the video which has barely any relation to the actual contentQUESTION FOR CHEM STUDENTS! Wait but what formulae do you need to remember in chem apart from likeimo atomi can be half good half bad for questions, sometimes they're specific but sometimes they ask you something ab the dumbest thing mentioned in the video which has barely any relation to the actual content
its good i think for refreshing memory and as a starting point
lmao i feel you for the remembering formulae part, my brain just breaks
probably not formulae as such, but i genuinely suck at remembering how to do calculations like i find myself getting confused with my own working out and just give upWait but what formulae do you need to remember in chem apart from like
Q=mcΔΤ and ΔΗ=-q/n
This is the most relatable thing ive ever heard. Like man not only do i have a terrible memory but i dont trust my maths either honestly!probably not formulae as such, but i genuinely suck at remembering how to do calculations like i find myself getting confused with my own working out and just give up
I went on a tangent about radiohead for mod C. Best assesment of my life honestly. I LOVE DISCURSIVES. Mwah.I hate how subjective Mod C is, get screwed over because your marker is in a bad mood. Sorta the same in all of English but especially Mod C,
The only fix for that is past papers, marking and redoing stuff u got wrongThis is the most relatable thing ive ever heard. Like man not only do i have a terrible memory but i dont trust my maths either honestly!
in my trails we did those keq calculations, like with the products/reactants yada yada…and i forgot to SQUARE ROOT. GOD HELP ME. I forgot about that oh my goodness.
Agreed! Our chemistry teacher is amazing she gave us this absolute BEHEMOTH of a practice paper. Im gonna work through that bad boy like no tommorow. Its going to get absolutely extreme guys smash likeThe only fix for that is past papers, marking and redoing stuff u got wrong

Cant wait to realise how much im capable of forgetting in 0.0000002 seconds after i learn it![]()
i had something similar happen where half of my essay was illegible. I was able to read it aloud with the head of curriculum to transcribe it, however I was quite lucky to be given the chance id say. For the HSC we need to be really mindful of our writing as youre not given the same opportunity, but I would try and appeal it as it would be a school specific assessment policy that's impacting you and itll impact your rank. Maybe you could suggest something similar where you are with an unbiased supervisor who hands the transcribed work to the markers? Or apply for some kind of misadventure? then again your school may be trying to teach you the lesson the hard way, as was explained to me, the hsc markers are being paid per essay, they are not going to spend time deciphering hand writing and will often give it a mark in the middle of the bandguys i need serious help idk if i should appeal for this. i got dragged into a meeting about my "terrible" handwriting in my English trial and got told that i did far below my average, which I'm normally at a band 6 level. I've gotten half of it back and got 9 on my craft of writing and a 6 on my common module, but when i look at my writing the parts they haven't highlighted because it "wasn't decipherable' actually is quite readable. from an unbiased view, i can genuinely read way over half of what has not been highlighted.
apparently i cannot read back to the markers again my work so they can mark it accordingly, is there a specific policy that states this for trials? or should i get the school to flag it on some grounds (to be fair i did have a severe family death two weeks before trials where i had to become the primary caretaker for my siblings for two weeks)
