Stressful 13 years mate, K-12, finally our prison sentence is over only to then go to uni and then an endless cycle of work
Kindy to year 10 ain't no damn prison, it's probs the peak of most ppls lives apart from maybe retirement but U can't do sh*t cuz Ur old asf anyway. Yr 11 is more work and so is yr 12, but those yrs fly by so quick, at least imo. Chill out on the school diss, you'll look back and miss it one day.

Ofc anyone would miss it but the 20s are the limelight of your life, practically the peak before the downfall

I got lucky, i was sick right after trials before i started studying so ig I’m not due to get sick for another while. Not sure if that’s how it works but it seems to work like that for me

i yapped a lot about historical context in mine, linking it to my themes of hope, individuality, and repression and my teachers said they really liked it. if u have lots of historical context then link it to the story being a sort of cautionary warning to readers about totalitarianism i think it shows that you understand the meaning of the book and orwells intentions

eg in mine i talked about stalinist policies linking it to the memory hole, orwells work as a propagandist for BBC during WW2 and the atomisation of society similar to nazi germany

interesting, I feel my essay is pretty thin, like I understand the text but I haven't gone deep enough but I'm not really sure how yk
