actually not really. the only thing i would've changed is not picking up ext 2 english (since i dropped it a month out from submission)Btw is it just me or does anyone else also feel like if you could go back in time would you change the subjects that you picked?
yeah like i understood the extended response but i feel like i mightve answered it wrong, struggled to stretch it for 10 markssame but honestly the exam was good, besides the weird extended response
Chem and Pdhtwo more weeks soldiers, anyone else got an exam on week 4?
You only need a 70% for E4?!Every1 reckon the scaling for maths ext 1 this year gonna be similar to previous years.
45% - 50% = E3
65% - 70% = E4
damn i hope so bc i kinda suckYou only need a 70% for E4?!
Yes 65% last yearYou only need a 70% for E4?!
wait i think it depends what mark it is. when it was 80 standard got a higher atar but when it was 70 advanced didguys help i tested my atar with either english advanced or english standard and tell me why english standard gets a higher atar with the exact same marks??? am i crazy
I don't think atar contribution of both subjects are hella different its js alignment for advanced is way better than standardwait i think it depends what mark it is. when it was 80 standard got a higher atar but when it was 70 advanced did
YES and not even because of the hsc exams - I regret dropping two subjects and keeping another 2 unit this whole time I regret it so badBtw is it just me or does anyone else also feel like if you could go back in time would you change the subjects that you picked?
wait i don't think you had to write about technology - you just had to take the ideas from the stimulus, whether it was 'adopting the unconventional' or going 'back to basics' you could've written about anythingEnglish should scale alright this year since it wasn't that hard but not even that easy. But because it was discursive or persuasive forced for mod c, so the scaling might go up quite a bit. Since half the state wrote abt technology for mod c, they basically narrowed the range of thought that students could write compared to if it was imaginative. So I guess scaling might be alright.
ohhhhhh that makes sense nvmI don't think atar contribution of both subjects are hella different its js alignment for advanced is way better than standard
