yes, jane is studying it early (ngl maybe their school is studying a higher yr lvl topic early)
differentiation falls under calculus which is not in the year 10 curriculum
calculus is legit only in the yr11 2u syllabus at the earliest, idk if you wanna argue or combat this but it's true whether you wanna believe it or not

ok so im just going off from what i remember but ur main themes to incorporate into ur thesis could be morality, gender stereotypes and youth or like smth about growing more mature as she did in the book. you could add the quote that goes like "i was made good, but get worse every year".

more quotes you could add from the top of my head but they might not be accurate bc i read it in another language lol

"if i started behaving like a girl (girl child?), i could just go off and find some to play with"

taught myself russian two years ago so ive been reading literature in russian cyrillic. languages are just a step closer into perceiving the world and tbh so worth all the hard work
