how does the protagonist (Scout Finch) perceive their own identity (views herself) throughout the novel? Refer to quotes to support your response
ok so im just going off from what i remember but ur main themes to incorporate into ur thesis could be morality, gender stereotypes and youth or like smth about growing more mature as she did in the book. you could add the quote that goes like "i was made good, but get worse every year".
more quotes you could add from the top of my head but they might not be accurate bc i read it in another language lol
"will you ever know a man until you stand in his shoes and walk around"
"until one shall lose it, i would never read. for he does not love to breathe" (maturity ig)
"if i started behaving like a girl (girl child?), i could just go off and find some to play with"
"my fists were clenched and i was ready to fly"
"whats a slut?" or maybe like "whats a whore?"
"oh father you are wrong" or "atticus, you must be mistaken"
i think atleast one of these quotes are from animal farm.... please search it up and find the english version or ur fucked
