that was more in junior yrs for us, and in senior yrs we typically have all or most of the content in the finals
i'm sure other schools also do it like ur school tho
oh yeah we had mid years in junior yrs too ofc
but our school only started doing midyears for y12 since hsc 2024 so i can only get last year's e2 midyear (which i alr did last year😭)

as a rank 1 theres literally no tips that they can give you that you will carry out in the same way or get the same result. youre not them idk how to explain it but u just gotta lock in bro and be original in ur work if ur fighting for a rank 1 in a writing subject

Fundamental Mechanics exam released for 2026 HSC syllabus for those doing Physics. It should be syllabus-relevant, and probably good exam preparation. Enjoy. Unfortunately I could not find the solutions, I might make them later (handwritten). The questions are from the 1995-1996 Physics HSC papers.
should only apply from class of '28 right?

hey so Im gonna rant but i just did my math advanced paper and it was so hard, for some reason it felt like i was under more stress or that the actual paper was purposely made harder than the past papers my school gave me it feels like i shouldn't rely on them at this point :(

i was getting like 90% on those practice papers ( which i did under timed condiions ) and at this rate im gonna get a 60%

the past papers YOUR SCHOOL gives are generally meant to be easier than the actual exam
imo just use thsc for harder papers, cus ur teacher most likely doesnt wanna give u papers harder than the test
But why tho would they give us easier questions??

to encourage you to study outside of what your teacher solely gives you
and yea cus if everyone in ur class does past papers which are harder than ur school and that ur teacher gives u, everyones most likely gonna get in the 90s, so schools want to test you by putting students within a range of marks to identify who actually studies outside of teacher resources and all that (im rawdogging my logic so dont rely on me for this πŸ™)

also cus harder past papers generally tend to come from the top selective schools which usually go above and beyond which is not necessary
