I feel like you could probably cook me in chemistry......... My bio teacher doesn't understand bio (I'm so happy she said bc i'm r1 I can do whatever I want in class instead of doing the lesson. (eve though I have to sit next to an eshay ☹ )) for chem my teacher is good if i can catch her outside class time bc she cannot control the class (I get moved for talking once when I'm doing hsc questions with a friend but then other students are jumping around the class being inappropriate juvenile) and physics actually my teacher is really good. ALl of this happened cause my chem class got combined, last year I had the same teacher for bio and chem and she was wayyyy better.
bro 2 of the bio teachers in my school are quite literally unintelligible, they speak so fast and they end up just boring the class

my teacher says when i ask a question abt something slightly complex (I'll answer that another time, I don't want to confuse the class just because you are ahead) Or the alternate response is let me find the answer and i'm sure that one entails chatgpt
science teachers are always a hit or miss, you either get the absolute goat that actually understands stuff or you get the most bum ah teacher who can't do jack and is away half the time

I still can't understand why drop bio...... It's essentially free time unlike chem ☹
i just really disliked my biology class
my class was filled with so many ppl who picked it because biology is dubbed the ‘easiest’ science and then don’t take it seriously
and nobody knew what they were doing so i was somehow at the top of my class… even whilst failing… and it never helped when i asked other students or my teacher for explanations

anyways it was either i got tutoring or ramped up my hours even more, but even then biology was the subject i was pouring the most time into so yeah i just thought might as well pick up ext 2 math 🤷‍♀️

Next year I better hear about you getting at least 99.5. I'm pretty for half of year 11 I was playing Fortnite ever day after school like I was getting paid. Now I realised that costed me early entry, worth it or not I still cannot tell.
if i still manage to get a good atar even though i spent all of yr 11 playing fortnite and getting the worst grades in existence, im gonna hold it over everybody who made me think that yr 11 would be a be all end all

guysguys, does anybody know what topics are considered too taboo or sensitive to talk abt in creative writing? im writing something with the protagonist (who struggles with drugs) and his relationship with his mother. theres no graphic descriptions but it depicts the protag in an iffy state. ill add the bits which mention

"He shifted his tongue across the roof of his mouth. Dry. Sullen didn't bother trying to move his joints; he felt that all too familiar heavy weight in them, as if they were rendered inert. Which meant he was still high."

"He swallows, his throat dry"

"crossing the room with deliberation"

i wanna continue but i think i might need to switch the idea. my english teacher isnt too fond of me either so idrk.

my school said abortion and suicide. But it depends on the school and the teacher. Cause for prelims my teacher didn't even want us talking about death or anorexia/bulimia

My teacher also said that it's "better" to write about happier stuff to put the marker in a happier mood but idk. If ur teacher says that they don't really like it then maybe u should change it

worst nightmare is asking just for him to think im a weirdo or something lol. prob gonna change it. but idrk what i can change it to while keeping the storyline similar

i remember in y9 i was writing a discursive about bullying and i wrote somewhere that "it'd stick with you for life" and he wrote that it was a grim take. soo embarrassing

Oh what I thought it switched already and we were the last ones to be doing the old syllabus.

So when did you start preparing for stage 6?
so i started on and off at the end of year 9 which got me to almost completing mod 2 chem and a good amount of mod 1 bio, but then i properly got into stage 6 like mid year 10 where i worked to where im at right now

Year 9 and 10 were wasted years for me 😭 Really impressive dedication and planning ahead, good job! Bro I bet before this year's end ur going to lock in and start studying for your university degree 😎
absolutely no uni bro that shit is scary, im just hoping to get enough content done so that i can spend the majority of year 12 just doing past papers and polishing up english to adapt
