while i got a bunch of y12 ppl here, a quick question for creative writing in english, would you guys say it is better to have a story that spans a short amount of time or long amount of time
i'd say that dont have a story that focuses on like a whole event for example instead make it a micronarrative and zoom into one part of it and base your story on that, its actually pretty helpful cuz then you don't have to worry about where the story is gonna progress because its a small part of it only.

also this forces you to add more detail and description which is obv better rather than worrying about covering your whole story

Is that why you search for half yearly papers? Half yearly will only have mod 2 or mod 3 not 1+2
yeah, most schools don't have their task 1 this early from what i've heard from some of my friends, which is lowk making me take the piss but it is what it is, also tyty for trying to find some!!!

Hellooo, so the notes I got from bored of studies. I'd recommend velocifire's notes for chem specifically because they are pretty damn comprehensive, as for phys, you will fare completely fine without any notes because physics is more question based. For bio though, I would defo recommend you to look at people's notes as the scope that bio has is pretty wide meaning it could be difficult to cover all required content, so use other people's notes as a guide on what you need to study. If you want, I can send you my chem, bio and phys (unfinished) notes as a guide.

To note though, my notes are very text based. I would recommend you to always have a good spread between text and diagrams as 1) it makes studying slightly less boring and 2) diagrams allow you to have a visual idea of content which is pretty important for some concepts in all three sciences. The only reason I haven't added images is cause I'm no longer bothered to do so and I understand the content well enough to be able to visualise the stuff.

I intend to. It's just if my parents let me or not. I like learning chemistry but preparing for exams and all the spamming is going to burn me out. Its fun to learn, tbh I might even pick up organic chemistry again after hsc just for fun when I'm more relaxed but now I'm taking all my best subjects. I really want to maintain my rank 1 biology, climb my way back from 9th in physics (that shouldn't be hard for mod 6) and put my full focus on math and english. I cannot survive anymore with free periods and chem class is such a bad learning environment so all of that together makes me want to drop. I really don't think it's worth it being jack of all trades with sciences and bio/physics are what I need for university, there is minimal to no requirement for chemistry.
nah thats valid do whats best for you, rank 1 bio is lowk tuff

Year 12 content 100% prelim is just boring fundamentals, If you'd have stayed past that year 12 becomes so much more fun hence easier.

I despise module 2
what was mod 2 even about again? i remember reallyyy liking mod 1 and then it all went downhill.
i remember in one module i had to learn like 10+ methods for proving the theory of evolution or whatever, it was actually killing me 😂
