Tissues and body systems whatnot. It was so mundane. Modules 3 and 4..... I literally have no memory of learning half the content so ig common sense for the win? Probably the encyclopaedias I used to read deserve all credit.
ohh yeah i think i never learnt module 2 properly and i had to cram it all before prelims haha
the thing about biology though is that while a lot of things seem like common sense, the way you need to write about those concepts is the farthest thing from common sense. or maybe my brain is broken

Can you expand on that? I don't get it. Biology is a very down-to-earth subject unlike chemistry and some parts of physics though in my opinion.
the marking scheme!! if you word something different to the marking scheme, even if conceptually its the same, you'll lose a mark.

also structuring answers for the questions with larger mark values (like anything over 4) was so difficult, id always lose the point i was trying to make and end up just regurgitating whatever content i thought was relevant to the question but thats on me ig 😅 😅

The speaker question cannot be something we were supposed to learn. I was yapping to my physics teacher yesterday about that and he said this term he intends to prepare another "killer" paper, and this is the hardest module so watch the average be like 25 percent 💀
good luck then... your teacher really enjoys this it seems

You could try and lock in to finish all the possible hw within the first 1-2 weeks. We usually get atomi and some 80 page booklet so I just spent a week grinding because our teachers have this terrible habit of stacking up a whole bunch of hw and making that due on days where I have exams.
but we get given the hw the day of, like theres no set schedule or booklet for us. ofc theres atomi but we have a textbook + workbook + random worksheets given during the lessons

ik for modern our teacher said we were doing the acw, so i grinded ahead the first week as we didnt have so much homework

Ig a start is grinding atomi and using that to essentially finish the whole module. I used the textbooks to learn everything so doing the questions wouldn't be too bad. That way even though the questions are boring they will help you learn and consolidate the knowledge instead of being a useless nuisance.
alr thx, which textbooks did u use btw?

u do bio right? do u get a ton of hw? cos for my skl theres two bio classes and one gets sm work (mine) and the other just has a few consolidating questions
my bio teacher is really chill so he doesn't give out any homework but he compensates with frequent topic tests to see what we need to work on

Lol we had a topic test yesterday and another today. Both were made by different teachers so good practice
yeah lowk topics tests are pretty chill as long as you listen in class, anyways, today i unironically just did math, for a pretty long time actually, i think i lost my sanity with how much my handwriting degraded over the time span but ya
