does anyone else find it weird that the misslie didnt directly hit the plane, with all the technology in the steath plane it should of directly hit it. and why did the escort planes explode too?

it could be to a number of factors, it wasn;t very clear wat happened

either the missile hit an escort plane and thus airforceone was indirectly hit (as chloe said), or the missile blew up just short of airforceone (which some missiles are designed to do) they blow up just before it and clusters tear through the plane, or the missile may have hit a defensive measure such as a flare or chaff from one of the fighter planes and indriectly hit airforceone with the explosion.

remember although they couldn;t see the plane, as soon as the missile was fired the fighter jets would have picked it up and taken defensive measures, the stealth plane was only 8 miles away or something though so they'd have like 1 minute to react wen the missile was picked up, (although that seems like quite alot)


i'll tell u wat was stupid in that episode,
the agent that was killed in mitch's apartment found the hard drive in the power socket, why did he look there? to plug in the portable computer scanner thing, after he died, jack just picks up the computer scanner, puts it on the dining table, opens it and starts using it without it plugged in.

Yup! Jack is the master-mind... and at the end, things get VERY intense. I'll tell you this: Jack may die!

Tony plays an amazing role too! Episode 24 = WOAH..

and the next episode on T.V is one of the best... super action (more than any episode u've seen) .... !!!!

As to how I watched them, just keep in mind the series finished in USA.... I just couldn't wait and found them all on the net

so i missed a few episodes.. the last one i saw was when jack was messing with some telephone box and he was exchanged for beruse and then CTu was tracking him but the terrorists took out the trackers....


i usually record the episodes on my computer usung my tv tuner but its bin playing up lately....

That's BS. Next episode is very tense, but there is no "super action". Heller's rescue and M&F commandos episodes have more action.

After being in the role of one character for 4 seasons, one would expect his acting to be up to standard.

hey, it's the most action in a while....... I'd call it "super action " considering the way they tortured...

Haven't seen the other three seasons, so I wouldn't know what you're talking about. I wasn't exactly talking about the acting; rather, I was simply saying Tony played an important role (duh!). As for the acting, everyone was great!

I suppose your definition of "super action" is different to mine. I had to refer to something as "super action" I'd use the Heller rescue episode - Marines flying in, doing strafing runs, rappeling down from choppers and having itchy trigger fingers.

Ghost1788, to fill you in:

CTU was about to find Marwan's position from the telephone-wire-mashfest Jack got up to when he was captured. Marwan escapes and blows up all the computers.

A military pilot is cheating on his wife with a chick, who turns out to be a mercenary working for Marwan. Mitch Anderson, a former pilot, is paid to dispatch Air Force One, and uses the miliary pilot to get into a Air Force base.

CTU get a lead on Mitch Anderson (forgot how). Jack and a backup agent go to his apartment. A FBI agent arrives first and is killed by the mercenary chick. Marwan wants the chick to find and destroy a hidden hard drive that jepardises Marwan's future plans. The chick pretends to be the FBI agent when Jack arrives. The backup agent finds the hard drive in a fake power socket, and is stabbed in the nape by the imposter chick. Jack kills the chick, recovers the hard drive, and discovers Marwan's plan to gun down Air Force One.

Mitch Anderson takes off in a F117a stealth fighter and fires a missile at Air Force One, and it gets in/directly hit.

cool, thnx... yeah, I guess other episodes did have more action in that sense, but i'd say episode 17 ranks quite high.

Anways.. didn't they say "airforce one suffered an indirect hit by an air to air misile" It seemed like it was the back of the plane that got hit...

haha yes logan is a dickhead. palmer has just this aura about him which just makes him cool. he dominates the scene he's in just by standing there.
