Hi guys,
My friend told me that his tutor said that you only need about 70-80 ish in the 4U Maths HSC exam to get a band 6 because of the scaling. Is this true?

yeh but dont your internal ranks also affect your mark? but generally speaking, if you are good enough to get 70 in the hsc, you are in for a band 6.

~65/100 RAW exam mark => ~band 6 EXAM mark for MX2 due to aligning (NOT scaling).
