By 80+ im guessing your referring to your ATAR. With these marks i think its unlikely that you'll get an ATAR above 80 (sorry if i sounded mean :S ). I can tell you an approximate ATAR if you want to PM me.

To get an ATAR of 80+, the safest way is to get band 5 for all your subjects. If you have mainly band 5s with a couple of high band 4s might squeeze you into the low 80s.

But dont give up, study hard till the day you finish your last HSC exam, you'll be surprised with how much you can do in a week or 2.

I reakon 68-75. I think 80 is really unlikely, but possible given that the externals are worth 50%.

Your internal marks mean nothing, Your ranking is set... Now all you need to do is obtain band 5's in the HSC which will give you a shot of 80+ IF your cohort performs well. But if you are achieving such low marks in your trials, then i wouldn't bet on it. I dont intend on being negative, just realistic. Now, work your ass off.

Technically your school assessment marks including trials are 50% but failing school + acing external is much better than doing extremly good at school + failing external. But normally people who performed well in the trials --> does well in their external as well.

This is only true in a small cohort or if you are ranked first where you can significantly bring up not only your external mark for also internal by performing well in the hsc.

One of my friends went to a 240th ranked school and ranked very low so school gave him 60 but he ended up getting 90 (external) so his overall was not 75, it was 85. If he was coming first, he couldodgot 93+. Your school mark is very important but I do not think it is 50% 50%.
