99 UAI with no Premier's award? (1 Viewer)

I know it's possible to get 99UAI with no Premier's award, but does anyone know of any people that have done it?
and wot was their UAI? (eg 99.??)
and what subjects and marks did they get?

yes, about 15 ppl at my school who get 99 dont have the premiers award. The other 10 or so do.

Last year at my school everyone of the 19 ppl that got 99 got a premier's award i think.

i'm just hoping to sneak into the 99 UAI club, with like 99.00 or .05 or sumthing.
i don't think my english will be band 6, but close. and then i do 4 maths, chem, bio, and music 1. i don't think chem's gonna count, and bio and music 1 are poorly scaled. so i think i've got no hope then?

My sister got 99.25 with 3maths, 2english, geo, phys, chem, gen studies (back then)

Anything is possible. You'll find out soon enough.

I'd be extremely disappointed if I got 99+ and didn't get a premiers award.

yeh, cos they only recognise ppl that get 100 or 1st in state, or premier's award.
and so many more ppl get premier's than 99. so yeh, it would be slightly dissapointing. but if im not gonna get premier's, at least i'll try get 99.

Shouldn't be too disappointed if you didn't get into all rounders - uai is the main thing. It all depends on the subjects. I think my stumbling block may be 4u oh well we'll have to see..

My sis got 99.8 (or was it 85? *shrugs*) and she didn't get a premiers award. My maths tutor got 99.95 but got one though.

Yeah our dux did it when I did the HSC. Her UAI was 99.1 and her subjects were Eng Adv, Eng Ext 1, Eng Ext 2, Mod History, Art, Legal, and something else but I forget. All her subjects were in the 90's, sep she got 89 for Art. She got 50/50 in Eng ext 2 tho

ok. so from wot it seems it is possible, mayb even quite possible to get a 99 without an all rounders. oh well, i've finished hsc. nothing to do now but wait!!

English Extension 2 (1U): 41/50
Mathematics Extension 1 (2U): 99/100
Mathematics Extension 2 (2U): 99/100 (2nd in the state)
Physics (2U): 96/100
Chemistry (2U): 92/100

2004 UAI: 99.85

Hahahaha lol. Only 2 more marks (at least) to get a premier award.
That would really piss you off if you are only like a mark or two away from getting it lol. Had he done better in English 2 unit, then he might have scored 99.95 or even 100.00.

just assumed that dux would get a bit higher than just 99.

The dux of my school this year is going to get ~80 UAI, maybe a little higher if I ace physics on friday .
