It would be much, much harder. I think that the social side of school life is about as much a part of school life-if not more-than the actual schoolwork, and it would be horrible seeing everyone else with their friends and you being alone.

hmmm.....i think i could. if anything i mite go better coz the distractions wont b there. but then again having the company of friends is very important as it keeps u sane and well-balanced

I guess i would survive, but it would be really hard. My friends are the best and we help each other get though the hard times. They also push me to try my best, and to do better.

my god there is no way in the world that i could survive..it makes me wann cry just thinking about it.... they keep me sane and give me a break from all the school shit... at lunch and shit just to sit down and have a good chat.. even if we sit and dont say anything... just having them there makes me happy... even in class when everything is getting a bit much for me just to say a couple of words to them even if it means getting in trouble...

even taking away the fun side of having friends i really dont think i could cope emotionally and shit... my friends mean everything to me.. more than my family probably as much as i feel like a bitch saying that... i dont know its weird...

i have just a small group of close frineds... about 6 but thats all i need.... i have people i talk to and shit that i could cope without... but wihtout these 6 i wouldnot get through at all... everything about them plus its good cause we r all in the same situation it destresses me when we stress together cause i know we're all in it together if u know what i mean

There is no way i could get by without friends...

This is a good point, when I was in high school and dont get me wrong I did have "friends" but no close/true friends unfortunately like I did not have a group of good friends etc. At times it made me very depressed but it also allowed me to focus on my school work MUCH more and achieve my personal best.

Now that I am out of school though I have made a new group of friends and am very happy with them even though I didn't go to school with them I still get to socialise with them on weekends, hang out at their places, etc its great. So whilst your social life in school is important dont worry if you dont have friends at school because it can change very quickly before you know it!!
