Is Melbourne as dangerous as it is portrayed?

Already 24 (i think it is) mobsters/gangsters are killed part of the gang war.

Is Melbourne more dangerous than Sydney?

Rank Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in order.


The reason i'm asking this is, i was thinking of moving to Melbourne or Brisbane in a few years time.

there not part of any mob i think, they are just all prominent criminals that petty thugs flock too. something i read in the paper.

NSW would probably be more dangerous for us teens. The amount of gatecrashers and gangs is getting ridicurous and they're more dangerous to us than any organised crime mob.

NSW should import some of the more organised crime families and just pay them to kick the shit outta teenage gangsters in shopping malls. its a growth industry for sure.

While there are gang killings, there's (AFAIK) been no civilian casualities in any of these assassinations. Sure, it's likely that eventually there will be some civilians caught up in the mob war, but I wouldn't really tie mob killings with a dangerous city - you need to look more at general street crime and the like.

actually a girl was killed by the crossfire of two gangs shooting at each other recently
