Not even schools gets a list of their students UAIs, let alone the media. Schools have to find out the UAIs from each individual students after they have got them.

I thought the UAI was personal and wasn't meant to be published in the paper or anything. (Except for people who got 100- they SHOULD be in the paper)

I'm probably wrong... I don't know what usually happens...

What i meant to say was if you get 90+ in any separate subject at all, you will appear in the paper, and the subjects that they mention after your name are the ones you got 90+ for.
