Was it a proper bag (e.g. backpack or the like) or a paper bag? Us grads got a binder with the contract in it and a bottle of champagne.

When do cadets start next year?

does anyone know if 1st years (in 2009) will be able to get a cadetship or something similar, because they missed out on this one?

LOL what do you mean?
After the conclusion of graduate recruitment season, PwC (as well as other firms) request you complete their feedback form to help them improve recruitment practices. The questions included "what do you think of champagne as the offer gift?" and "what do you suggest as an offer gift?" and I answered "PwC backpack".

Of course, it may just be they didn't offer champagne to cadets as not to be seen distributing alcohol to minors :D

Believe it or not it wasn't me- but I've had more than my fair share of people from BoS coming up to me at various events... I still don't know how they figure it out.. sneaky bunch of people those BoSers are though!
Haha well I'm not that hard to figure out, you add 4 letters to the end of my forum name and that's my real name.

Also shadowswifter, I believe they wanted us to call it a "compendium" lol.

i was accepted in all of the big 4 firms 2 years ago, but decided to go with the co-op scholarship ;)

when answering cadetship applications, the trick is to NOT answer the maximum amount of words.

instead, make your responses short, and sharp - the 'screeners' go through over 500 each year.Short, sharp answers really stand out. - DO NOT over elaborate/justify your choices etc...

for example: say the max word limit is 150..
i only did 100 - 105 words max
(i am good friends with one of the 'screeners' and he assures me this is the best way)

feel free to pm me for any more questions
