So? People are upset because one horse died, compared to millions of animals slaughtered each year because people want to eat more meat instead of vegetables.

most zoos in the western world do a lot of good animal welfare programs.

pandas would die off if it wasnt for breeding programs lol. and they cost millions to keep coz chinese government wants their cut lol.

My cousin's actually a horse breeder in Wagga, so I can ask her if you want. All I know is that horses are fucking expensive to upkeep and they even get special dentists.

You know zoo animals aren't human, right?

They live in ideal safe conditions with all the food etc. they will ever need. Zoo animals have got it better than most wild animals.
