If someone who is not rank one is a massive positive outlier, will the same moderation take place? Say if rank 2 is their rank by about 12 marks, but in the exam they get a low-mid band 6? I talked to my teacher and he said that I might have been able to break the band 6 wall in this exam, but I am concerned about the fact that I may loose it due to my sheer distance from rank 1? Is this true?

assuming this paper was a bit harder I think you'll barely scratch band 5

I think half was super easy and half was super hard so it all evened out in the end, but timing was an issue and people didn't get time to recheck their answers so there's definitely room for silly errors. Maybe the same as 2024 or slightly worse.

for me i found it way harder
2024 i did it leaving 30mins? and got 83/100 similar with other past papers (all scores within 70-85 r but this one i borderline failed
but then again im a very average student at a non-selective school so i might hv found it harder than others

guys if i did some questions in 2B pencil its ok right? for like one or two qs i did it in pencil cus i was uncertain but i didnt have time to go back over them. pls tell me its ok otherwise i might crashout

I have a bad feeling that alignment might be good for lower marks, but at the high end it won't be that great
