I put linear but 'form' is weird terminology that hasn't come up before.
i went with scatter plot because i thought it was really odd that they called it bivariate data the whole time instead of specifying. they usually specify the type of data. could be wrong tho? it was so weird they keep using weird terminology across the board this year

this is what my chatgpt is saying:

"Great question — when a question asks “what is the form of the graph?”, it’s asking you to identify the type or shape of the relationship shown between the variables.

It usually means:
👉 What kind of mathematical relationship or equation does the graph represent?"

But i think they'll probably accept a couple different answers as well as long as it gives some sort of new analysis on the graph.

Guys I feel like standard had it worse than us this yr. Its even covered by news websites like the guardian and SMH while there's rarely anything about adv

Yeah all my standard friends said it was super hard
I did see this in the Telegraph

Former NESA exam writer and Head of Mathematics at top girls’ school Ascham Janet Hunter confirmed that each paper featured higher-order questions more typical of the next level up, with some candidates “in tears” after the tests.
“Usually Standard questions are couched in practical situations rather than using calculus vocabulary,” she said.
“Advanced ... was on the hard side and long overall.
“Questions like 25, 27 and 28 were more like Extension 1 or 2 in style where they really had to think and interpret and connect parts.”

bro look at this question 2024 got, 2025 are so unlucky to get an actual 3d trig question. in the exam hall exactly a year ago, i was stressing seeing this question, only to realise its a standard level question

Yeah I never really put the time into 3D trig I was relying on getting a 2024 type question if it was in there. Definitely a stupid decision lol
