not really similiar shit, the ones that overlap are the business courses
they do their own seperate tourism and hospitality unit thingy mabobs

the course at unsw requires interview

there's a course at UTS called B Management in Tourism and Hospitality which you can only get into if you've done the diploma in Hospitality Management at TAFE.

there is also B Management in Tourism which is the one i want to do after i get my advanced diploma in Tourism Management but wish me luck cuz i lots of it

Dingo, Tourism is the temporary movement of people from one area to another in for either leisure or business purposes, so the industry involves those businesses that provide services for these tourists like tour operators, carriers (airlines, coach companies etc), travel agents, that sort of thing.

but it isn't to be confused with Hospitality...this is a subset of the tourism industry mainly focusing on food and bev, accommodation and that sort of stuff.

The short course goes for 4 days, it will provide u with a hotel licence, liqor licence and a gamgin licence

Yeah i've decided B.arts is bullshit so i'm dropping out and going to see about getting into TAFE for a librarians course which i hope will eventually either lead me back to uni to finish it, or i'll just do the whole thing at TAFE.

But for the moment i am looking to get a job until TAFE and then go from there.

As of 1:54pm this arvo.. i am no longer a uws student!
