yeah i just woke up, and i too am waiting for the full version release. and DAMN the demo is 385MB. too big for me to d/load, wonder if any PC mags have the demo on a CD.

i downloaded it last night. havent got a chance to play it fully. However bad news is that u cant play multiplayer unless u have an individual seriel number. But that doesnt matter cuase ill be buying the fullversion when it comes out.

the scenario editor works, i can pick all the civs ect.


spook iuf u download the game and have trouble running it, ill explain it.

anyway . i tihnk ill be playing abit more later. with the Russian civ

i have only ever played the demo of the original AOE. I loved to build the villages and didnt appreciate them being knocked down by invaders. Are the later versions as focused on the construction side? or are they almost purely battles and exploration?

wow u litrally live in the stone age if u only played aoe1.

second and third still require u to build and upgrade alot. but battles are more specilied and units have strength and weaknesses, unlike in aoe1 where some units where the strongest and u couldnt counter attack them with anything

So is there, lyk, a cheat u can put in to stop people invading me? coz if there is i will do that and then just build awesome villages. Then when i need more land, i will build up an army and then invade...

Lol, i was never quick enough in battles. My head got all in a tizzy and i freaked out when things were fired at me. In AOE 1 i tried to convert everyone but my priests kept on dying and they cost a fortune to make...This new one looks awesome tho. i think i will buy it...when is it meant to be released?

yeh just make the setting on low.

and if u want to be faster at the game start learning hotkeys. eg to build a house i press "b" then "e" and choose where to place a house . its much quicker.

So when is it meant to be released? right now, anything but the HSC just looks so damn appealing.
