Hmm... wtf. I got 22.784.

To find the side:
H^2 = 2^2 + 2^2 = 8
H = SQRT(8)

A = 2.598 * (SQRT(8))^2 + (0.5 * 2 * 2) = 22.784

Did I do something wrong?

PC, how'd you get 32.784cm^2?

i found the side by using pythagoras..

so c^2=2^2=2^2
c^2=8
so i squarerooted the 8 n got
22.828

then used the formula given

so 2.598x22.828^2
=20.784

then 1/2xbxh
1/2x2x2
=2

so 2+20.784
=22.784

your right=]

Hi

Was just wondering if it would be possible for someone who was able to take the general maths 2007 hsc exam home, to post it. We weren't able to take our copy home. Thanks
