I'm personally a big fan of bands like Of Mice & Men, Of Machines, I See Stars, PTV and all of those sort of bands, but it seems like there isn't really a lot of people in my year that can enjoy it like I do; maybe 10 people out of a 180-strong year group that are fans of it.

So I was wondering, how many other people on here love all the breakdown-filled chugcore that I love? Haha, any bands that you like from the genres in particular?

I myself am a fan of late 1987 trans-progressive antesymphonic dubcore. You've probably never heard of it.

I'm a big fan of hardcore music; post-hardcore, metalcore, deathcore any of that stuff. A Day To Remember, Bullet For My Valentine, Suicide Silence, Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen are my personal favourites.

Grindcore is the only -core I listen to on any sort of regular basis (and even that's pretty infrequent now).

Palosem: You've got great taste! ADTR and SS are probably two of my all time favorites as well ^_^

Absolute: I don't really know many proper Grindcore bands; I usually can only find joke bands or Pornocore, got any suggestions of good music to listen to?

Deloving: Pierce The Veil are pretty unique, but if you love King For A Day, you'll probably love Sleeping With Sirens as well haha. Memphis May Fire, Get Scared, and The Amity Affliction would probably good bands to check out if you're new to the genre :)

Check out their songs 'Open Letter' or 'R.I.P Bon' from their new album Chasing Ghosts. They're great :)

Carcass. The album Necroticism is probably the easiest to get into, because it's not strictly grind.
