Is it just me or does it seem that most subjects are easy or easier once you study but Mathematics always throws a curveball to screw you around?

I usually get like 45% in my math class tests, about 2nd last in Math 1.
I studied my ass off on the subjects and got like 51% which is good and all but it seems like the wording of the questions gets me. I know math but not what the questions ask of me.

Any tips?

PS. help me and ill love you forever :p

If you get unsatisfactory result despite hard-working, you should know what your problems are. You may change your study routine or whatever.

However, the best study method that I can give you is to STUDY. It sounds simple and I am aware of the fact that you do it. However, in Mathematics, you have to put at least 1 hour a day. That is minimum and that EXCLUDES homework.

During that one hour. You:
  1. memorise formula
  2. know where you use the FORMULA
  3. know a variety of question
  4. get some help probably
  5. do some light exercises
If you can afford more time. You can:
  1. finish the whole exercise (i.e. do as many questions as you can!)
  2. leave the wrong questions and get solution and look over them
  3. get some help (teacher or friends)
If you desperately need help, getting a tutor is a good idea.

Good luck and if you need more help, PM me.
