a) in losing him you have so much more to gain - you're young and frankly shouldn't have time for this shit
b) he was probably a cunt and that it would've been infinitely more painful and detrimental being in a shit relationship

Get over your ex and move on.

You can do that by keeping yourself busy as opposed to dwelling on something that probably is never going to come back.

I made a similar post to yours about my ex on BOS around the time I finished high school. Fuck sake, I felt terrible at the time but its wasnt the end of the world.

Chances are, you'll find someone else sooner or later.

So harden up and stop thinking about what could've been.

and yeh wanting him back can cause a lot of pain for no bloody reason. Dont sit there and wait for him to come back. If he hasent in 3 months, his not coming back as harsh as that sounds. My ex broke up with me 3 months ago too for two months i waited for him to come back and then i found out he had been fucking girls every weekend since we broke up.. honesty i didn't want HIV lol but yeah im still not over him

Also deleting them from your phone, blocking them on MSN, no more emails, etc will remove them from your face. Any other memories like letters should be hidden and never touched, never read, never seen. Writing about it to yourself can also help I find.

I lost my best friend and lover also at the beginning of the year. At the same time, I have no friends even though I've tried, I've got no job even though I'm looking, and all I have is Uni which I would have already graduated by now had I not made some silly mistakes here and there.

Time will heal most wounds I think. People just need new obsessions and hobbies.
