Applied Finance w/ Pro Acct (MQ) or Comm/Ec (UNSW)? (1 Viewer)

I had my mind set for applied finance and professional accounting at macquarie but I got an offer for commerce and economics from UNSW and now I am genuinely considering it. I had always wanted to go UNSW because of its reputation but was convinced by many people to go mq because they are known for their business faculty. I am interested in an accounting/banking career.

I would love to hear anyone's opinion on either of the courses

If I was in your position I would go to UNSW. However you should also consider location and commute time.

I'd think that you would be better of going to UNSW.

However if travel time is extremely long, then I'd probably recommend that you go to the one with the shorter travel time.

Go to the different campuses, and have a "feel" for the environment.

Another thing to note, is that UNSW is introducing trimesters in around 2019? and Macquarie University currently has no plans to introduce trimesters.
