You'll get your first assignment in sem 1, using Haskell. And look out for a "train" theme if you are doing 1711 ...

I heard we're using B for the second year language (said in the seng site) as opposed to C... is that really true?
Yes, you use B for some 2nd year subjects ...

And you wasted your $ buying the Haskell book ...

How come? is it really that easy to learn?

I think i'll just resell the book later, probably will end up losing 10 bucks, so maybe 10 bucks is worth-it.

*note to self : stalk next year's new students for buying me books.

Oh c'mon, someone else started first :p. I merely pass the mistake on (continue the chain reaction) :D

Anyways, i'm going to make the most of it and learn haskell as good as I can, or else it's gonna be in my pile of unused computer language book (sits next to java, turbo pascal and python..)

yeah there seem to be lesser architecture students each year, and this semi-resurgence in residential development is also good for the bizzo

and nah you don't need a card to go into building 6 at all, in fact we get hobo's coming in and tormenting us.. but there's really nothing worth looking at in building 6, we have fuck all architecture resources unfortunately.

civil is more abt. building the structure itself, and what material ur gonna use, etc. etc.... but in architecture, it is just abt. design of the building as in how its gonna look and stuff. :S
