Cast your mind back to last year, when big Alex accused AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty of "expressing a view which reflects a lot of the propaganda we're getting from al-Qaeda".

Mr Keelty expressed a view that Australia's involvement in Iraq may result in al-Qaeda considering it a potential target for future. The comments were made in response to the Madrid bombings. And big Alex hounded the commissioner (who has an impeccible service record btw) over the honest remarks.

If you are stringently left or right on any topic then you are a mindless sheep. Each issue should be looked at and weighed up and then a side, be it left or right, should be chosen, regardless of your opinion on a different topic.
