I can say myself i'm dating a white girl, and i'm asian. Alot of it has something to do with the more typically inclined, what asian guys find attractive.

Personally i think in my case is that i'm only attracted to white girls is because of my upbringing around asians with family. I've grown a disdain for them (sorry for the partially racist tone) and to this day its become a more sophisticated interpretation of who i believe they are.

In another case, i have an aquantence who's dated nearly 20 girls in the last 5 years, all whom are asian.

I guess its safe to say it boils down to the individual, what both find attractive, and what both are actually looking for.
