During the start of term one of year 11 i had around that much assessments.
so you're saying that's just term 1? i should be prepared for a big increase come term 2?

It really depends on the school, I know at my school we got a lot of assessments towards the end of year 11.

I've got a maths test next week and no assignments. :D
I've been getting daily homework for maths and english though.

got 2 study... or else i am screwed.. i think i am already screwed for english anyways so o well..

don't wory; i'm sure ull go fine.
even if u do flunk it, it doesn't count towards ur hsc so ur a. ok!!
just try to learn and understand concepts in ur subjects and practice essay writing in english (which i really need to do)

If you have many assignments and exams, if I were you, I would finish the assignments first, then study for exams afterwards. And like others said, start your assignments early, so you can finish on time. About study, if you make notes, then do it well before the exam. If you are not making notes (like me), study it towards the exam so you don't forget what you have learned. (I usually study overnight). Making notes is better though, as this means you also prepared for your half-yearlies next term.
