I would estimate you 2009 ATAR to be approximately equal to 96.40, that is, if you continue to sustain your current ranks and carry those excellent marks through to the HSC exams, achieving high, that is, >80%, you will achieve most likely an ATAR of either exactly 96.00 or higher.


If you attend James Ruse Ag High, however, or SBHS or STHS, or even Baulko of course; I would then put your 2009 ATAR at 98.10.
Of course, it is all depedent on you carrying those marks through, translating those very decent ranks into excellent raw HSC external examination marks. Aim for RAW 85% in every subject, and as NONE of those subjects will scale you down, keep gunning for an ATAR of 93+. You can and will do it. But it's up to you. Once again, my bet is,

2009 ATAR of 96.40.

Yes place it below 98.80. I reckon you should get low to mid 90s. @Schoey, hwo did you calculate. Also you haven't got a clue above JR or Baulko, as we get the scaled marks on our reports, i.e. they take into account the fact that we go to JR etc and scale the marks up accordingly. So in reality, if OP was getting the same marks in JR they'd get the same ATAR. Don't discuss what you have no idea about. How do I know this? I got to James Ruse.
