OMg so sad i can't think anymore
just after the english paper 1 exam my friend was extremely depressed after he thinks he failed, i tried to cheer him up and say its ok and stuff but unfortunately he went home and overdosed on his mothers sleeping pills. however his parents found him before it was too late and rushed him to hospital.
i only found out about this today when his parents called me, however he'll not be able to attend the rest of the exams due too his current condition.

i hope he'll get through this ok.

Hey don't be a sh*thead. Its a horrible thing to say to someone who has a friend attemp suicide! Have mroe consideration. Its devistating and its a way of coping to share it with those who care to share...if you don't want to hear then don't say anything

Yes he is asian.
In fact he is chinese guy.
I reckon he is going to get like 75 uai or less now considering he is going to stuff up in chemistry and economics and physics now.
he would need to somehow miraculously make a comeback to achieve a better potenial of 80 uai or 85 + UAI now.
But i guess its too late for him now, oh well.

Well this is not helping other HSc kids by posting this stuff .. i must say to these poor kids ok fair enough tough times yet we all must go through it.. also the HSc isnt the most important thing in life there are so MANY choices out there..Ok if the situation is must do good or esle ..those paretns need to grow up and relax seriously FFs they have no idea about the stresses..and if they expect good marks ...well they havent even got the marks back.. shit ...

However emotions this days far out... i feel srry for the kid hope he recovers but dam it ..

I did, in Year 10 after SC

and funny thing is that they wont EVER talk about studies with me nowadays except maybe a "how did you go?"

Personally i think that sucks that someone can get a 10 uai bonus for a self inflicted ailment. And fuckin up in the HSC is never an excuse to kill urself...... just have a beer or 10 n get over it i say.

ok well ill take ur lack of sensitivity and morals as indicitive of ur age if ur are doingur HSC in 2008.... just so u know for next time - dont say the words 'mad' and imply 'cool to attempt so that i could get a good UAI' in a suicide forum...

and yes u can get a UAI over 100% and its not only misadventure, elite athletes and aboriginal and toress strait islander students ect ect can also get it however it obviously ranges deending on the circumstances
