hi people!

first off, yes i know the cutoff for BA - Psych was 84.15 last year. well, i'm freaking out. i got a TES (TAFE tertiary entrance score) of 250, which roughly means in UAI terms 83.35 (TPC students aren't actually told the UAI from UAC, we just get to guess, how nice of them :(.)

1. do you think some miracle of miracles will happen, the cutoff will drop and i'll get in?
2. if not, should i put a BA as a preference and would it be possble to transfer in to BA - Psych from here? i've looked through the UG handbook and can't find anything on this?

thank you, i'm stressing out heaps :(

Yes it will be possible to transfer into a BA-Psych from a straight BA.

BA - Psychology
BSc - Psychology

* at least 12 credit points with an overall gpa of 2.5

Which equates to about a semester and in between a credit/pass average. The thing to remember though, is that you won't be able to do some of the units until you're in a BA-Psych, but can do other electives and units which don't have the pre-requisite.

Once you're in MQ, the internal transfer policy makes it easy to move around :)
