You don't study at all.

Here are some advice:

Daydream all you want.
Have sex in class.

That's about it. Take my advices seriously.

Mathematics School Certificate isn't a real worry if you understand the basics of Mathematics. It's mainly skills taught to you by your teachers or that you may already possess. Unless you are a struggling student in Mathematics I don't why you should really study at all. If you need to study intensively then that means you have wasted two years worth of learning.

Having completed the School Certificate exam in 2004, I know the stresses that come up to get good marks. As long as you get along in school work then there is no need to stress out.

Yes, the correct answer is do a grand total of 3 pages of work for the entire year of year 10, one of those pages being only a heading.

Also I didn't bring a calculator into the exam and only got one halfway through, and received a ruler and protracter ect with 5 minutes to go, so I just estimated instead.

I got 90.

lol at ur lack of effort that continued thru to hsc maths lol
maybs its an idea not to do this minimum of work, otherwise it could be a habit for you as it seems it was for Shuter through his hsc

Yes that's right, I wouldn't recommend doing what I did, but I'm lucky and things always just work out for me, I made what I want, I can't complain.

To get a band 6...

Spend half of the time in the exam actually DOING the exam.
That way, you would've checked over the answers x1000.

.. if ur in maths 1 ( top maths class )

SC is based on wat ur supposed to have learnt in that year
and advanced class don't get any tests differing from the other maths class

If you want to feel more confident you should study,
I recon do some (lots) of practice exams from the board of studies website just to get use to the type of questions asked and the format of the exam,
Yeah I agree with everyone else when they say daydream cause most (nearly all) the stuff covered in class isn't in the exam.
Though you should be fine just know the basics such as how to use your calculator and go with your gut instincts with the multiple choice cause most of the time it is the correct answer

Band 6 in SC is extremely easy since the maths is like YR6 maths(if you don't believe me check out the SC past papers). As long as your brain is severely damaged before you go to do the exam you will DEFINITELY get a Band 6
