i just saw the video of that columbian weightlifter. it's so sad when you see his face just before his last attempt. it made me teary. lol.

Yeah, that was quite sad. I heard he had won the Pan-American Championships and was set for gold. When he started to cry at the end, that got me.

anyway, channel 7's coverage is shithouse. All i've seen is swimming, volleyball, gymnastics and diving. ffs i want to see some archery, weightlifting, wrestling, shooting, badmington and archery.

the 20km walk is on now. lololol

australias typically don't go well in archery/wrestling/shooting/badminton which is why they don't show it. also wrestling is the gayest sport ever. you're a massive fag for wanting to see grown men in tight outfits hug each other.

geez that pool's fast this year. I read somewhere they installed small fans or something into the lane ropes to cut down on wash from other lanes (plus 2 extra lanes) and optimized depth or something (not too deep so that you lose your sense of vision but not too shallow that you're affected by turbulence)
