i actually bought a book called 'the belonging workbook'

gives examples of related texts, and goes into deep elaboration of the concept of belonging.

pretty good, imo.

also, it contains my school text - the immigrant's chronicles.

Namu, if you want to get hold of some texts focusing on the AOS belonging contact some of the larger bookshops. They should be able to tell you which ones they have in stock and the ones they will be getting in soon.

Probably not Dominie, from what I heard talking to a teacher friend they don't have any Belonging texts in stock currently.

But you can check via their website: http://www.dominie.com.au


Some are, some aren't. Like I said before contact bookshops and ask them or check out the publisher's website. I only posted one link before as I happened to be on their website, but if you google you should be able to find them.

Nelson Belonging in particular is quite good (I only had a brief flick through today).

I've been trying to work on abstract ideas of belonging... and trying to find some good related material...

I deleted it. I refresh my profile regularly. At the moment, I am also working on a definition on Belonging, but I am deconstructing the word analytically and deriving all possible perceptions of meaning in the broadest sense.
