Go go go.

1. At Mount Zoomer - Wolf Parade
2. Alas, I Cannot Swim - Laura Marling
3. Alopecia - Why?

New stuff from No Age, Times New Viking and Witch Hats has been pretty great as well, but, yeah.

Post good albums, plz.

tbh nothing has heaps stood out for me in 2008

however my favorite albums so far have been

lowrider - diamond amongst the thieves
lightspeed champion - falling off the lavender bridge
goldfrapp - seventh tree
the roots - rising down
sons and daughters - this gift

havent heard jamie lidell, gnarls barkley and panic at the disco but apparently theyre all good. im sure that the new death cab and ladytron albums will be right up there too.

Panic at the Disco-Pretty.Odd.
The Getaway Plan-Other voices, Other rooms
Kisschasy-Too B or not Too B (even if it is a re-release of old material...I still love it)
Those are the ones I've been most impressed by so far this year.

Agreed on all mentions of new Boris.

The latest Earth (The Bees Make Honey in the Lion's Skull) is a delicious slab of music, might I add. Cowboy movie drone with piano arouses me greatly.

Scott Kelly from Neurosis has a new solo album out this year (The Wake), and for one guy with an acoustic guitar, it's actually pretty fucking good.

Have a Nice Life's Deathconsciousness is all over the place, but all up, it's some pretty neat shoegaze.

Agalloch had a new EP out this year (The White), which is just half an hour of nice folk tunes, Agalloch dropped the metal for this one. Leaves me wanting another full-length something fierce.
