bambi has got to be one of the funniest episodes. i love the bit where they run up stairs to go to bed, and when then come back down all the actors have changed characters, then they just disappear and re appear at the laundromat

incidently the reason they had bands on was because they got more funding if they pitched the show as a variety show rather than a sitcom

Yay, someone else knows The Goodies. They ran repeats on abc years ago and I recently got the dvd. Good show. It gets unfair comparisons to Python though.

I never liked seinfeld. Always found it and the characters irritating for some reason.

Then after that at 11:30 you have to watch Tough Crowd w/ Colin Quinn. It's awesome.

Oh yeah I forgot aboout Frasier..it's hilarious although I only started watching in 2003... Seinfield is really good too... the soup nazi episode is one of my favourites..
i don't hate 'my wife and kids' it's just a lot of the humour doesn't appeal to me...

Swell programs.

I watched twenty-four episodes of Absolutely Fabulous (courtesy of the DVD box-set ) in a five-day period. Much fun and hillarity was had, and the compulsion to utter 'sweetie' or 'darling' frequently to others still remains. The first three series are particularly 'fabulous', even asking such important questions as;

Why don't they just tax the stupid people?.
So when its midnight, the year goes up by one?[...] Better write that down. (Ah Bubble's idiocy and randomly deep vocal tone.)

Additionally, what are your (and anyone elses) thoughts on the impending American adaption of The Office? Seems like a foolish idea to me, but will wait until the ultimate airing before making a final judgement. The man threw a kettle over a pub. What have you done?

It'd be interesting to watch, but I doubt I'll like it.. nothing compares to David Brent and co.
