Our school is just like using fitzpatrick as 2/3 unit and Terry Lee for 4 units~~
Terry's book just more solution process in it. Half of book is the answer~~:mad1:

For 3u I think cambridge is the best and Fitzpatrick is good too.

we jsut use fitz for 3unit and cambridge for 4u
depends what u define as "best", cambridge is probably better than fitz in 3u but its too fat to carry around and has too many questions, lots which are pointless

I reckon Cambridge 3unit is hectic. Especially the Extension Q's even though take a bit of time to do.

Terry Lee is alright. I find that I only use it when I need the solution for something as it seems like the MIF of 4u.
.
0_0 really? Terry Lee was probably the only book i used for 4 unit, the 7th edition has a wide range of questions that vary in difficulty, I don't get how it can be the " MIF of 4u"....

For 3unit: green fitzpatrick ftw.

I reckon no book can be the best for 4 unit as different books seem to excel in different topics...

for 3 unit, I will go for Cambridge as others mentioned.

My school uses some dud textbook which is 1000yrs old ==

At home I have the Cambridge and Fitzpatrick and have to say they are probably the two best textbooks. They go quite well with each other but I have to prefer the Fitzpatrick because of it's questions. The questions imo are at a decent level of challenging (apart from Cambridge Ext questions). And there aren't much of them:
1abcdefghijk
2abcdef
3abcdefghaicaksdjf

It's just 1,2,3 and most are problem solving.

And for 4u... I have no idea.
I'm using Patel's at school and Cambridge at home... I like the Cambridge :D

I used Fitz for 3unit and 4unit, with Hosri's solutions aside to read through.
I used Terry Lees 4unit a week before the exams (like i basically read through the solutions). I used T.Lees Essential of Mathematics (3U) throughout.

Honestly, I never really worked through the book, unless I didnt have its solutions. But I did have for 4u fitz, 3u fitz, 4u arn, 4u patel, 4u terry lee.
