I've fallen asleep while reading but not because the book literally put me to sleep more likely that I was really tired when reading it and I just fell asleep.

P.D James - The Skull Beneath the Skin

Yuck.
Agreed.

Dracula and Frankenstein bored me.

Any LOTR book bored me.

Any chick-lit crap bores me.

Twilight bores me.

Goosebumps always made me fall asleep in primary.

Letters to Alice - Fay Weldon

Even worse than reading Jane Austen is reading a book ABOUT Jane Austen. I had to read it for Module A, and though it's only 200 pages long, it took me longer to read than it would have taken me to read all 3 LOTR. Utter drivel. First near-suicide experience relating to the English curiculum.

Definitely has to be one of the most crappest books picked by the Board of Studies :mad1:

Kant is renowned for epic boringism.

He never really DID anything in his life. Just read and wrote.

Don't hurt me for this, but I just could not get through it, I've tried so many times haha.

can plays be considered as books? If so then "The Playboy Of The Western World" John Milington Synge, "Dancing At Lughnasa" Brian Friel.

Book Books: "Stolen Angels", Shaun Hutson

Great Expectations. Enjoyed the movie very much, but the book was 600+ pages... far out.
