The most awesome movie ever!

Although that scene with that fat guy and Borat naked and all over each other was gross

Pretty bloody funny film. A few lulls in the humour here and there, but at its funniest moments it had me in tears of laughter.

Best comedy in a long long time (not that hard, but it is).
I agree, when it was funny it was extremely funny, but when it wasn't it was really tiring and boring. When the audience is meant to feel sympathy for Borat, I just found those scenes lame and a waste of time.
But overall, very, very funny

At the risk of being branded Captain Obvious here, Baron Cohen is a satirist. He's sending up his own people.

He's also a genius when it comes to accents.
He isn't sending up his own people. He's making a point about how ridiculous racism is. He said in in one of his only interviews out of character.

yeah, its poignent satire. he's criticizing prejedice and (in his shows atleast) a whole plethora of disguisting attitudes people have. mostly, americans.
i haven't seen the movie, but from the trailers, i think his show is better.

i love the way ali g rips the crap out of the conservative, white americans in his satirical interviews in his show. and they don't realise his is putting it on..

'What car gets you woman with shaved vagine?'
'That would be a Corvette... or a Hummer.'

I love that he got Christians to kick a prostitute out of the house. Jesus lol'd at the hypocrisy too, I'm sure.

I thought it was nothing special compared to his borat segments in previous tv shows. This was just an extended tv show.

His insults became repetitive and it got boring towards the end. The sentimental bits were pointless too, they added nothing to the film.

Good watch overall i spose.

hi guys

i myself havent seen it, but a Kazakstani ive spoken to says she's very offended and that it defames her country/it's people..she mentioned most of it is crap..

yea yea i noe its satire and if i see it i'll prolli enjoy it heaps, but i gess some ppl dont appreciate satire when its abt their backgrounds etc..

The joke isn't on Kazakhstan, it's on America.
