Gardner is no longer going to play because Tottenham's first choice CB pairing is King and Dawson. The only reason he played the first couple of matches is that King was injured. Managers generally don't like to fiddle with their back 4, so it's unlikely that Gardner will get many opportunities, except maybe against relegation candidates at home.

and after all Edman has got to .. rennes ? so theres still a position to be filled up
if not ill be transferring him out asap in the fantasy league

That'll be taken by Lee. Gardner can only fill a central role, which will both be taken by Dawson and King. Gardner was only playing because King was out.
