Hi everyone, I do standard maths and I am hoping to study a bachelor of science, specifically biology, most likely at unsw. I am wondering whether I should do a bridging course since advanced maths is assumed knowledge for the course, or if self study would suffice. I do quite well in standard maths and feel I would be capable of doing advanced with more effort, so I am wondering whether a bridging course is necessary or, since biology is not as maths heavy as other sciences, if I can learn it before beginning at uni. If self-learning would be adequate, what topics would be relevant to a biology major?
Thanks in advance!
