we'll have life after HSC. leave this forum as it is. if ppl start thinking they have too much of a life (note I said 'too' not 'any') during HSC, they might not do as well. that's my opinion anyway.

yes i 100% agree. i didnt put my life on hold at all and here i am doing a law degree at wollongong uni

In less smart ass terms, it would be someone who has their heart set on a course which requires 99.xx but are university snobs so they wont consider those at "lesser" universities requiring 98.xx .

Haha. I just remember reading, in a book, how a psychologist was making a distinction between 'need' and 'want'. He gave the example of a student in his class excusing himself early to go to tennis practice. "I need to go to practice, sir." "You need to or you want to?" "I need to." "No, you might need to go to the toilet, but you want to go to tennis practice."
