Hey,

I am currently in Year 11 and wondering which textbooks people recommend. At the moment I'm using Jacaranda.

Thanks :)

i used chapman and syks and codsi.. chapman can get realli detailed... and u praticall dont need 1/3 of the book. I usually use the skys and codsi for the basic framework/definitions and use chapman to add *extra meat to the bones*

in yr 11 i used the business studies in action book....

in yr 12 now i started using the same heineman business studies in action book (yr 12 edition) but i lost it so now i use an excel one i got from the library.... only problem i have is that it is very thin on the detail in comparison to heineman.

is this a problem? anyone who did business in 2003, would u say that every little detail the heineman book gives u is needed? or is the basic information provided in excel a sufficient option?

no you don't need every bit of detail in your textbook, that'll just be crazy
excel/mac or any other study guides are just summarised notes from the textbooks..so yeah, they'll be sufficient for study, or maybe get an extra study guide (i recommend macquarie) just as a backup
