Buying Textbooks For First Year Of Uni!! (1 Viewer)

hellow there world :wave: Does anyone know when we find out wot books we need and when should start buying them? It would also be good if some ppl know of some 2nd hand bookstores.

The bookstore near the Arc Centre on campus is pretty expensive

Textlists come out on the bookshop website Mon 25th Feb.

But it's better to wait until your first lecture, and they will tell you whether you definately need the books or not.

A good way to get second hand books is to go to www.textbookexchange.com.au ...they usually have good savings on there (once I managed to get a Linguistics book for $30 instead of $100 at the bookstore!)

As well as the main UNSW bookshop, there is also a secondhand bookshop on campus, located on the ground floor of the quad, directly under the sundial. They buy and sell secondhand textbooks and you can often save a lot of money buying your books there.
