when i went to the information night for kpmg they said they take in around 80 people for interviews from the 700 or so applicants.

and from there i think roughly 1 in 10 get through the interviews *ROUGHLY*...

I still haven't heard from anyone regarding rejection letters =.=

THIS IS ALL IN MELBOURNE BTW!!! ^^

l'm guessing its about the same in Sydney, though from that CA guide...sydney has a lot more cadetships compared to melbourne...so roughly how many will kpmg take?

yeah the pwc night was damn good. everyones sooo nice and the building looks real good.

but the most surprising thing was how chatty and genuinely nice the partners and mangers are. it seems like a cool place to work

It is good that you are made to feel comfortable. That is really important, these are the people you might end up spending a majority of your time with for the next few years!

Re: Cadetships 2007

I thought the PwC info night was fantastic as well!

everyone was extremely nice and easy to talk to.
actually i got so engaged with talking to different people that my friend and i were the first to enter the room..and the last to leave. which was not good, since we lined up a bit too late and didnt get our first preferences, but its ok.
but now I have a much better idea of the structure of the the program/company under the assurance umbrella.

and conquest sounds like it'll be fun.

Re: Cadetships 2007

Sounds like I need to make a bit of effort to make the EY night just as good.
